Fall and Winter: Part 1

About a month ago, I got this crazy idea to do a seasons of the year inspired photoshoot. I’ve always been a huge fan of the fall (it’s my favorite season) and especially up here in Oregon with all the beautiful trees changing. I wanted to find a way to capture the seasons using my typical dramatic style but obviously not make it so harsh and gritty. Auction

As I promised, here’s the official auction page to help support the Free Photo Project. Here’s how this is going to work. Below, are four photos that will be for sale. They will be printed with a small white border and initially be shipped to me. I’ll sign them and then once the auction is over, whoever has the highest bids for each image will be the winner. Since we’re not going through eBay, this will maximize the amount of profits that eventually go towards the Free Photo Project. The auction will officially end Sunday June 6th at 5:00 p.m.

Free Photo Project

This past week, I had an opportunity to work with a great community project. The Free Photo Project goes out into the community and gives families and individuals free portraits to those who can’t afford them. It’s a great little project that’s been in the works for about two years (you can get a little back story here: All Smiles). If you don’t have a second to read that, basically Aloma (the founder) started this project about a year and a half ago with a basic point and shoot camera.
