St. John’s Bridge

  Yesterday was a pretty nice day up here in Portland so I wanted to go out and shoot something. I had seen a couple photos of this bridge before and so I though I’d go and get my own shot of it. This is by no means a unique vantage point. In fact, pretty much ever photo I’ve seen of this bridge has been taken in about the exact same spot. However, I knew I could do something different in the post processing end of things. It was pretty simple in terms of what I did after the fact.

Welcome to Portland

I’ve been up in Portland for a month but really haven’t had time to go out and do some serious shooting (and I guess I still haven’t). I was sitting and noticed an awesome sunset outside my window so as quickly as I could, I set up my equipment but unfortunately I just missed all the beautiful colors in the cloud. Actually, it looks like I pretty much missed the cloud as well. However, I still thought this was a great capture of the building across the street.¬†Hopefully before long, I’ll get out and explore the area a little bit

Hayward Field

Things have been a little slow on the blog lately, sorry about that. I’m in the midst of midterms in my final term of school so things are a little stressful. Just trying to finish up my last quarter of college and move on to a more photography oriented life. I’ve been working on some great projects and have a couple lined up. I did a fun shoot for the University of Oregon Admissions yesterday, working with a charity next week called Free Photo Project and I’m working on planning a shoot with an international company to do some work
