Japanese Waterfall

This awesome little waterfall is located about 10 minutes away from my home in Portland. My sister and brother-in-law were in town for a day so we decided to go explore the Rose and Japanese Garden. Maybe we hit the Rose Garden (not the basketball arena) at the wrong time but the Japanese Garden was way more impressive. I suggest you check it out if you are ever in town.

This photo was pretty simple. I shot it with the stock camera app that cones with all iPhones. On the post processing side of things, I used a program called filterstorm. It first came out on the iPad and I’m glad it’s finally out for the iPhone. The thing I like best is it allows me to do some of the things I do in Photoshop (like curves) to my phone photos. I think this photo involved a little warming, some saturation, sharpening and a vignette.

I took some other photos using my favorite app Hipstamatic which I’ll be posting soon. I apologize for abandoning this portion of the blog for so long, I promise I’ll get back on top of it!

Hey, like this post? Why not share it with a buddy?
